After a long day, with tiredness setting in and thoughts of bed, we decided to grab a bite at the Cask & Clyde last night. Part of me felt a bit guilty, being in Glasgow with so many incredible food options around, and thinking I should have ventured further afield. But, hold on—I’m glad we stayed! Gayle welcomed us warmly at the entrance and took the time to walk us through the menu. I chose the Glaswegian Curry, aka: Harry’s Granny Curry, and honestly, it was fantastic.

Gayle didn’t just make us feel welcome, she was attentive, friendly, and super helpful throughout the night. I come to Glasgow often for work, but this was my first time staying at the DoubleTree Hilton, and I’ve already found my new go-to spot!
